  1. Seems that Apple has won this chess round against Google. Best way for Apple to hurt Google is by restricting ad revenue from iPhone… Jobs fired a very explicit shot across the bow by downplaying the importance of search and browsing. And as long as the browser does not support Flash – which seems to be safe assumption going fwd, likelihood is that more consumers will prefer using the app version of their favorite website, further reducing Google’s range in iPhoneland. At this stage, Google definitely not benefiting from encroaching on Apple’s turf but I guess they always knew Android would only pay off in the long term, and they have time, money and patience to continue to invest there…
